Seattle has been in the national news lately regarding the challenges we face with homelessness due to our unprecedented growth. There is no denying that we have a critical situation at our doorstep. That is why organizations like Immanuel Community Services are so important while a bigger solution is being addressed. Immanuel Community Services has been meeting the basic needs of the most vulnerable in our community for decades. As we all see in the news, the need is greater and we need partners in this important work.

We can sit on the sidelines and talk about all the reasons why, or we can get into the game to do all we can to make a difference. The SLU Chamber is electing to get in the game to keep Seattle Thriving.

Why is are we doing what we are doing?

• ICS does not receive any government funding and relies on the generosity of people like you.
• We need your help to be able to care for the most vulnerable in our community.
• Our goal is $1,000 which we know goes to directly making an impact.
• ICS has a hygiene center, a weekly food bank, a recovery program and a monthly community meal.
