Everywhere we look, we see the faces of people who do not have a place to call home.
We see it every day. Someone standing on the street corner or at the freeway off-ramp with a sign. People sleeping in doorways. Tents popping up in our parks.
This year there was a 15% increase in the number of people sleeping outside in our area.
Immanuel Community Services serves about 13,000 of these lost & forgotten people living on the margins each year. We fill a very important gap in services. But, we desperately need your help in order to be able to continue to provide all of these basic human needs.
We helped 17 people from the shelter and hygiene center, with a combined 90 years of homelessness, move into stable housing and on a path to a new life. But there is so much more work to do and so many more people that need our help. Your support is critical to providing food, shelter and hygiene and we need you more than ever this year!
