The ICS Putt Putt Tournament is one of two events we hold each year to raise money to provide food, shelter, hygiene and supportive services for the most vulnerable members of our community.
This year, it is more important than ever that this event is a success. Our board recently made a big bold courageous step to increase pay for our program staff so they can make a livable Seattle wage and live in the community where they work. This was a significant unbudgeted expense and is stretching our resources. We need your help to bridge the gap.
So this year, I am hosting a Virtual Putt Putt Team in memory of my Sweet Sophie.
Sophie was the Chief Compassion Officer (CCO) at ICS and provided companionship, comfort and joy to staff, volunteers, clients and residents for five years…especially during the challenging and uncertain times during Covid.
Please give what you can. As my grandmother used to say, “many hands make light work.” Every little bit helps provide critical basic needs services to our neighbors experiencing hunger & homelessness.
