This year has been a difficult for everyone, but especially for those experiencing hunger & homelessness. Historic job loss and closing of public spaces and programs have made it even harder on folks struggling to survive.

Every day we see increasing numbers of people at ICS needing help putting food on their table or find a safe place to wash their hands and eat a meal: 63% increased households served by the ICS Food Bank and 50% increase in the number of people coming to our Hygiene Center seeking refuge.

In response to Covid, we pivoted quickly to help the immediate increase in numbers:

• We expanded services and created programs to provide food for folks unable to leave their home.
• We added meals when clients & guests told us that the meals we serve are the only meals they eat, due to closures of other programs and public spaces.

The most vulnerable in our community need us now more than ever. And we cannot continue to serve without your support.
